That is whenever it's given power the speaker emits loud continuous buzzing and the hardware won't show up as a serial port.</p>
<p dir="auto">Is there anyway to force hardware into an uploadable state and reset.<br />
Hardware is original M5 stack without 4mb psram</p>

<ol>
<li>Remove all modules, leaving only the host</li>
<li>Then try to lower the baud rate when burning</li>

We managed to fix it<br />
simply holding down button A and reset button until Arduino ide attempted to connect<br />
then releasing it and allowing it to upload without a chance for the old code to run</p>
