<p dir="auto">in the FS root path has already had <code>main.py</code> file you could modify it. when you select the app mode(purple)  <code>main.py</code> will be exec.</p>
<p dir="auto">if you are use UIFlow, you need to download the program, not just exec it. then it will auto setting this program for auto-start running.</p>

I tried naming it "main", and also "<a href="http://main.py" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">main.py</a>", but after I switch modes with button/reset and release at purple, the screen turns black and stays black through reset and power on.</p>

I've tried uPyCraft on Linux and it works.</p>
<p dir="auto">But then I've remembered <a href="https://thonny.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">Thonny</a>. Tried it and it also works on Linux and has many features for MicroPython @ Atom Lite : View-&gt;File, edit file on microcontroller flash memory, etc.</p>
<p dir="auto">I also recommend <a href="https://github.com/wendlers/mpfshell" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">mpfshell</a>, it works 100% on Linux to copy files with Atom Lite/Matrix &amp; UIFlow 1.4.5(.1).</p>

<li>using CLI (Command-Line-Interface) tools (on Linux),  'screen /dev/ttyUSB0 115200' on Linux works, showing 'MicroPython v1.11-301-gd0880874d-dirty on 2020-03-13';</li>
<li>but <strong>'rshell' and 'ampy' don't work at all</strong> (these tools are useful to manage files on MicroPython microcontrollers). Exemple of error message : 'ampy.pyboard.PyboardError: could not enter raw repl';</li>
<li>so <strong>how to copy files to/from the internal flash memory of Atom Lite/Matrix ?</strong> I don't see webrepl, ftp server, etc, in the 1.4.5/1.4.5.1 firmware.</li>

I am sure you are already working on this but there needs to be a way, after selecting the leds in the simulator, to save a page of the toggled leds for the atom and then play back or trigger those pages. I picture something like the emoji interface you had in previous releases would be helpful to bring back since it had multipage options for crerating animations. <img src="https://pp.userapi.com/c851320/v851320311/a2388/i-WdriJtbds.jpg" alt="alt text" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" /><br />
I imagine much of the code used used on the 5x5 microbit screen would be helpful if ported to UIflow. Things like the various 5x5 fonts they have avaiable as well as the various scrolling routines <a href="https://makecode.microbit.org/#editor" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">https://makecode.microbit.org/#editor FONTS</a>. I know this is just the beginning and it already looks great but I thought I would state the obvious benefit of adding in some of this capability in future releases. thanks for the new release it's always fun to see what new tools you've made for us.</p>
