I'm fairly new to microcontrollers so forgive if this question seems dumb. I'm having a tough time figuring out what the dip switches on the ExtPort Core2 expansion module do. How should the dip switches be set by default? What access do you lose or gain by flipping them. I have interest in using this module to connect multiple sensors but my lack of understanding of what the dip switches do and how they should be configured is a real barrier for me right now. Would appreciate an explanation from someone more knowledgeable.

Cheers

the section "PinMap" will explain it all. In the section "Schematic" you see how it is done.
