Much firmware has already been created for ESP32 and Si4732, see: http://harduino.ru/index.php/en/download There are many, many clones of the ATS-25 radio so the firmware is easily obtainable. The ATS-25 radio can be found online everywhere, it has a color LCD display similar to M5Stack. It is also possible to use many SDR chips in a USB dongle form factor.
