Hi,

I'm new at this, just got the CoreS3 device today, just the basic kit.

Ran through the demo and installed UIFLOW2 and page 14 on the manual says to press on red shape with text "Select Device", I did this on the CVoreS3 device and now I have a black screen which just says M5STACK in white letters.

I press on it but it won't do anything, unplugging it and pressing on/off twice didn't do anything.

It seems that's it's polling forever for a device that is not there.

Any advice will be appreciated, there is probably a reset or something.

Daryl.

The M5STACK text was gone. I just got a dim grey screen.
I could write to the device from a command console.
I could run dir() and so on.
From there I was able to burn the demo screen and then the UIFlow2 module.

I think my problem was the device was waiting for a response from the UIFlow program on the PC and didn't do anything until I ran the UIFlow2 on the PC.

Thanks for your help, I did re-burn the latest firmware but I had to get out of the UIFlow2 state first.
Now to RTFM.

I think the device is in an indeterminate state, M5Burner can't read the MAC address.
Is there a button combo to cold start (or reset) the device?
I read unplug from USB then press power button twice but that didn't work.
