The Grove specification states that most Grove devices will accept either 3.3v or 5v for the signal input.  The signal input in question is MIDI_IN.</p>
<p dir="auto">I would like to know if MIDI_IN will work with the MIDI standard of 5v without damaging the device.</p>

<p dir="auto">according to the SAM2695 <a href="https://m5stack.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/resource/docs/products/unit/Unit-Synth/SAM2695.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">datasheet</a> used in Unit-Synth <code>MIDI_IN</code> is a 5 V tolerant input.</p>
