<![CDATA[Tab5 RS485 connector]]>The Tab5 has a 6 way connector that includes the RS485 signals, but none of the cables I have fit it - it's quite a fine pitch. The docs don't mention it. What is the type of connector?

It’s sometimes called "Micro JST", but it's really a 1.25mm pitch Molex connector.

I believe it's 1.25 pitch.

I don't know the pitch of the connector. However my M5Tab5 came with a matching cable. Maybe double-check your box?
