<![CDATA[Issue Setting Up XiaoZhi Voice Assistant on AtomS3R (No Wake Word Response)]]>Hi everyone, I’m trying to set up the AtomS3R-AI Chatbot board as a voice assistant.
I followed the official docs: https://docs.m5stack.com/en/guide/realtime/xiaozhi/atomic_echo_base

When I flash and configure the OpenAI Voice Assistant firmware using M5Burner, it works fine and I can see the expected output.

However, when I try to use the XiaoZhi Voice Assistant firmware for AtomS3R, nothing seems to work. I’ve tried multiple wake words, including:

  • “Ni Hao Xiao Zhi”
  • “Hi Lexin”
  • “Hi M Five”

but there is no response at all.

I’ve been trying to get this working for about a week now without success.
Has anyone here successfully set up XiaoZhi Voice on AtomS3R or faced a similar issue? Any guidance or pointers would be greatly appreciated. 🙏
