Re: Core2 keeps rebooting with PoE base

I’m guessing this is probably the same/similar issue I’m having with my Core2 and the IoT CATm base?

What exactly do I need to do here? Please help :)

        Hello @iamjameshannam

the issue described in Core2 keeps rebooting with PoE base is an immediate reboot cycle within a couple of seconds (and not after a few minutes). So, no, I don't think this is the same issue.

Can you describe what software you are running on your M5Core2? UiFlow? Arduino?

Are you running from external power or battery?

        Thanks

          Hello @iamjameshannam

do you have a SIM card in your IoT Base CatM module?

I did some testing and from within UiFlow it seems that as part of the module initialization (e.g. catmiot = module.get(module.CATMIOT)) an AT+CPIN? command is sent repeatedly (about every 6 seconds) until the module response is +CPIN: READY. Without SIM card the module response is ERROR which means the program flow is blocked forever.

          Thanks
