Unit CamS3 - 5MP : very limited & unusable examples

Hi.
I've bought the Unit CamS3-5MP unit and installed the demo app. Using initial AP setup, device is accessible in setup mode but images do not seem to be posted.When setting network credentials, unit reconnects and is pingable but still no image is posted of saved to SD.
Also no other working examples are provided. I like to use the unit as a standalone security camera but also the example from Expressif does not work as espected .
Any Tips?

Recently a bug was fixed in userdemo firmware that images cannot post to EZData2. Maybe you can try it again? -
