some time ago i've loaded project in to my Core unit and since then LCD screen is blank, sometimes i can see backlight on or blinking but screen itself isn't displaying a thing, any diagnostics i can do with Core unit to see what is wrong? Core unit is detected as usual, I can burn latest firmware, i can load project and see response on comms monitor but for some reason LCD is blank all the time. Any suggestions?

@robski have you made sure to erase and write the correct core firmware as there are different core configs with different screens

@ajb2k3 I do have 2x core unit and one core2 also 1 Tough also few stickCs which im updating every time with new firmware release. I've tried to erase and write few firmware versions now for core unit since screen stopped working but no joy. As said this core unit can be programmed and works except that screen is blank.

Sounds like the screen may have died.
You haven't tried to remove the screen have you?

I showed how easy it is to damage the cable in the process of repairing a core.

I had it open to check for any sign of damage/bad contact but couldn't find anything,
