      Brand new Tab5 Kit, the Tab5 boots up, shows "Tab5" on the screen, beeps, and briefly flashes a graphic that looks like it's the demo software. Then it reboots. Never gets to a running program.

      I thought the battery may be discharged, but this happens while connected via USB-C with the battery removed too.

      Is this a dead unit? Or does it just need to be re-flashed?

          open M5 burner and burn latest firmware to it

            @robski Make sure the USB-C port has enough power to meet the Tab 5's power requirements. Try different USB ports, as some may be underpowered. Also, consider if too many devices are hogging power or if the port is under-spec for the Tab5.
