Can you add the M5stack Core battery (the module with the red base) to a Core2?

I was thinking of extending the battery life of the Core2 even further by adding the battery module. Would this work if I was to remove the mic expansion board on the core2?

I did the test, it works with the red battery module link text
but I prefer the M5GO2, because it adds a port B and C
I only use Uiflow ! with M5STACK Gray, RED, CORE2, ATOM, ATOM Lite,M5Paper, M5Tough, ATOM Display, M5 Stamp pico and more Unit...
