      Hello --

I have an m5stack Fire running version 1.9.0. I do not want to use blockly, I want to use micro python directly.

      1. How can I load/save python from the flow.m5stack.com website?

      alternatively

2( How can I load/save python via usb using micropython tools (such as thonny or ampy)?

When I try to use the usb port, the various tools see unknown characters and are unable to do simply micropython things (like upload or even "ls" the existing files).

Thonny and Micropython run great together.
Here is a link where you can download different firmware.
You should also flash the firmware via Thonny. It is very simple.
