Unit Cam support for Core2

I was dissapointed to find that my Core2 does not support Unit Cam. As the Core2 is a more expensive controller than the first generation Core I would appreciate this being resolved asap please.

I'm thinking of getting a Unit Cam and I have both Cores...I was wondering what you meant by 'not supported'.
To me it appears that it would be!

The Unit Cam and Timer Cam units are greyed out on UI Flow for the Core 2. -
