ESP32 Arduino vs M5Stack Arduino
-
If you are going to define M5 family board in Board Manager, you'll have to choose between two separate variants:
ESP32 Arduino and M5Stack Arduino.
See the screenshots. These variants are not the same but quite different.
And compilation results also different.
As I partially understand the first variant will works with mostly ESP32 libraries,
while the second one will use M5Stack oriented libraries. Are there gurus who can describe in details these differences?

@Kabron you highlighted m5stampC3 and m5Stack arduino libraries which are two different classes of esp32
C3 use on die usb adapters, others use external usb adapters -
@Kabron, I wish Arduino did not offer M5Stack Boards, when M5Stack official offers up to date board definitions.
Just use M5Stack!
I have 'one-of-everything' M5Stack boards and many, many projects later, I'm happy.BTW:
What version of Arduino IDE are you using? -
@teastain said in ESP32 Arduino vs M5Stack Arduino:
Кстати:
Какую версию Arduino IDE вы используете?Does not matter. Same for 2.3.4.
-
@Kabron It was a friendly 'btw'.
There is not a bug or a problem.
It works fine for me on 2.3.4.
Relax and use the version you prefer.
