GPS Module reboot problems

I am trying out the GPS module on the Core 2, but when I init the custom ports (TX16,RX17) and run a script through UIFlow the device crashes. I've read that you can solder the module to a different pin, but I first wanted to be sure I am not doing anything wrong.
Any help would be greatly appreaciated!

Thank you so much! I've tried working with the 14 and 13 pins, but now the Core2 says the name 'module' isn't defined. It seems like one step forward, two steps back.

there should be no need to cut traces in the GPS module. For M5Core2 defining GPIO13 and GPIO14 in UiFlow (instead of GPIO16 and GPIO17) should do the trick. Or am I missing something?
